Frequently asked questions about A5App

Quick answers to the most common questions from people looking for an ordering app: tablet, cash register, printing, pricing and free trial.

Which app can I use to take orders in my restaurant?

To take orders in a restaurant you can use an app that runs in the browser and does not require a dedicated terminal. A5App is one example: open tables, add products from the menu, send the order to the kitchen or bar and manage bills from a smartphone, tablet or computer. You can try it free for 15 days.

Can I use my tablet?

Yes. A5App runs in the browser on Android tablets and iPad, as well as on smartphones and computers. You do not need to buy a dedicated device: use the tablet you already own, both for taking orders on the floor and as a kitchen or counter station.

Do I need to buy a cash register?

No. A5App is not a fiscal management system and does not replace the electronic cash register: it is for managing orders, tables, bills and kitchen. If you already have a cash register or fiscal management system, you can keep using it alongside A5App.

Can I print orders?

Yes, you can print orders on compatible Bluetooth thermal printers, as well as view them on a kitchen display. Browser printing requires a compatible printer and a device with Web Bluetooth (typically Chrome, Edge or Android). On iPhone and iPad with Safari, Bluetooth printing may not be available.

How much does A5App cost?

A5App starts with a 15-day free trial. After the trial there is a launch promotion of €8 per month for the first 2 months, then the standard price is €19 per month. The price is monthly and without long-term commitments. Always check the current price on the product page and in the WebApp.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. A5App offers a 15-day free trial, with no upfront cost, so you can try it in your venue with your menu and devices before deciding whether to continue.

Do I need to install a program?

No. A5App is a web app: you use it in the browser, without installing anything on your computer. There is also an Android app on Google Play for those who prefer a dedicated icon on their phone, but it is not required.

Is it suitable for small restaurants and pizzerias?

Yes. A5App is designed for restaurants, trattorias, pizzerias and bars with table service, including small businesses that want to digitalise orders without investing in dedicated hardware and without changing the entire management of the venue.

Can I manage multiple devices at the same time?

Yes. Multiple devices can be connected to the same restaurant and work on the same data at the same time. Staff sign in with a restaurant code and PIN or with their own account, so floor, kitchen and counter stay aligned.
